I agree, but such an ephemeral item is quite possibly rare enough that you might have the only known one "in captivity." (In other words, there may well be grey scale originals out there, but which might not see the light of day for years--if ever.) Even a monochrome copy of the Quazar plan is better than no copy at all (if a grey scale one turns up later from someone else--perhaps "encouraged" by the appearance of yours on the Ye Olde Rocket Plans website--then a grey scale scan of it could become the new online copy.) A lot of older model rocketry ephemera, including plans, is getting more scarce as the years and decades pass, and even less-than-ideal copies of them are important for the completeness of the hobby's historical record.
