The Tornado was in the catalog between 1989 and 1998. If Estes were producing that kit today, it would likely be priced in the $7 to $9 range. Case-in-point, the sticker price for the current-vintage Estes Alpha is right at $10.   The Viking is around $7. I'd say you got a bargain even in 1989 dollars. |
