Dale, was your Javelin's decal this one (see: http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/ca...64/64cen34.html [second from the right at the top, just to the left of the color stripe decals])?

The Javelin illustration in the 1965 Centuri catalog (see: http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/ca...i65/65cen8.html ) shows it with a short, straight-lines white roll pattern decal on a black overall paint scheme. (In 1969 [see: http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/no...a/69cenp30.html ], the Javelin's decor scheme was changed to the familiar multi-colored [longer] straight-lines roll pattern decal on a white-painted body tube.) The large "diamond checkerboard" decal that was shown on page 34 of the 1964 Centuri catalog (see the first link above) doesn't seem to have been made for any particular tube size (at least the description for it didn't say so), but it looks like it was big enough to have wrapped around #10 body tubes.
