"That thar 'nucular Bullpup'" (the one in the rear in your second photo) has interesting-looking rear fins/wings--they look very much like the Centuri/Estes Viking kit's fins, but with zero sweep on their rearmost edges. Are there any good nuclear Bullpup dimensioned drawings online? (I searched awhile back but didn't find any.) [CORRECTION: the "fat" Bullpup with the unusual long-chord rear wings is an AGM-12C Bullpup B, which carried a 1,000 pound semi-armor-piercing warhead to a range of up to 10 miles (instead of the 7-mile range of smaller Bullpup versions). A variant of the "fat" AGM-12C fitted with a cluster bomb warhead (for use against anti-aircraft sites) was called the AGM-12E.] |
