I was thinking the same thing; windy conditions when originally flight testing resulted in the C6-3 listed in 1977 that was revised in the following 1978 catalog to the C6-5 that year and every one after.
Because this is such an obscure minor issue that was so long ago, it may be that nobody is around any longer that really knows.
