I just did a double-take when I casually remembered going there then, and then it sank in that that was 40 years ago! This also got me thinking: Since the guys who ran Orange Blossom Hobbies did seem to be into collecting as well as selling (they had displays of 1940s-vintage model airplane engines, pre-slot car race cars, a big [apparently scratch-built] V-2 that pre-dated the Estes Maxi-Brute kit, and other display rockets), they may have salted away old kits and RTFs from Semroc, Cox, MPC/AVI, Centuri, Estes, and other model rocket manufacturers. It might be worth tracking them down to see what they might have; who knows, maybe you could even complete a collection of Semroc kits and accessories?
