Speaking of US 27, a couple of years ago I had vacation to burn. I planned a trip from the Cincinnati side of the Ohio to the Tennessee border on US 27, just to see what was left to see of the grand old lady. Life intervened and I never made the trip. (I did a honeydew trip instead. ) Maybe someday if gas drops below $3......
