That is a great catalog cover (1971 catalog with Interceptor). A friend of mine several years ago talked about this catalog a lot. It was the first one he ever looked thru. And like many of us, ended up having a dog-eared copy from endless hours of thumbing thru that first catalog.
I was buying Estes catalogs on eBay and found that catalog. I bought it for him and gave it to him on his birthday. I am sure he had a tear in his eye upon seeing it, and I probably would have had a similar reaction. For me it's the 1964, but eBay prices are just crazy when one appears.
Another popular catalog for me is the 1970, with the Orbital Transport on it. I am currently finishing up a scratch-built Super Orbital Transport. I just put decals on it today, and will clearcoat tomorrow, one day prior to leaving for NSL. I'll post a picture of it on the NSL thread.
