My takeaway are two things.

Where do all these nose cone molds go? They are used well below their potential duty cycle. Are they lost to vendors, corporate switches, laziness and incompetence? Can I go pick them up or have more parts made?

The Viking while ubuquitous was a quite forgettable rocket. However what is interesting is it was engineered to be near cost free to make, with die cut paper fins, small paper tubes, low cost two cavity nose cone mold requiring assembly, and almost all bulk packed.
