I found something unusual in the NASM's Centuri kit collection. Their Micron kit (see: http://160.111.252.58/collections/a...id=A19930698000 ) has the same "helical checkerboard" roll pattern decal (printed in red) as the Centuri Snipe Hunter (see: http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/no...a/79cen012.html ), instead of the straight black roll pattern decal shown in Micron illustrations in the Centuri catalogs (see: http://www.ninfinger.org/rockets/ca...01/701cen6.html ). Since the NASM's Micron kit is the earlier version with a balsa nose cone (as is Semroc's "Retro-Repro" Micron kit), Semroc already has a "helical checkerboard" roll pattern decal (from their "Retro-Repro" Snipe Hunter kit, see: http://www.semroc.com/Store/scripts...s.asp?SKU=KV-51 ) that would be historically authentic if they also included it in their Micron kit.
