Exclamation New Design - Rocket 872

A design similar to 871, but not quite the same...

The main structural elements of the fins are 1/8" hardwood dowels. The rear support pylon passes through the paper transition and attaches to the ST-7180 tube hidden underneath. The outrigger fins are 3/32" balsa, while both pylons are 1/8" balsa. The cooling fins are 0.05" matteboard.

Recovery is a 16" chute. A 12" chute is too small; the fins would take a beating. You might even want to try a 20" chute if the recovery field is large enough.

Length: 30.78"
Diameter: 2.04" (Transition #2)
Fin Span: 5.76"
Weight: 2 oz

B4-4......334'......Dv < 11 FPS......Requires 27"
B6-4......342'......Dv < 8 FPS.......Requires 29"
C6-5......816'......Dv < 3 FPS.......Requires 28"

The A8-3 is not recommended.
