They've decided to postpone the launch until after New Year's (see: http://spaceflightnow.com/2017/12/1...-to-early-2018/ ), after finding a power system problem and having unfavorable weather forecast for a while. They have yet to make money from Electron, and needlessly creating a multi-million-dollar fireworks display would place them farther from, rather than closer to, that goal. |
