Firefly α & β rockets
Hello All,
Firefly Aerospace (see: http://www.fireflyspace.com/ ) is back on track for servicing the small-payload and medium-payload satellite markets, with re-designed Firefly α and Firefly β (Firefly Alpha and Firefly Beta) launch vehicles. For launches into polar, heliosynchronous (Sun-synchronous), and highly-inclined retrograde orbits, the Firefly vehicles will use SLC-2W (see: http://spaceflightnow.com/2018/05/0...-at-vandenberg/ ), the Thor, Delta, and Delta II launch complex at Vandenberg Air Force Base; the company is still in the process of selecting an east coast launch site (Cape Canaveral and Wallops Island are being considered). Also, *here* http://www.google.com/search?source...1.0.4c9wVqdcjwE are more links to information on, and illustrations of, the Firefly Alpha and Beta launch vehicles.
I hope this material will be helpful.
