I think you nailed it, I had a Shrike.
I think what I did was take the booster from the "Shrike", when I lost the upper stage to the rocket eating trees(one of my favorite 2-stage rockets BTW)
I added a length of BT with a coupler and used it to carry my Camroc for what reason I don't recall now. I do remember that it flew and recovered very nicely in a city park in Chicago with a very small open area to recover in. I did get some nice aerial pictures of the surrounding neighborhood which I still have.
I only have 2 old catalogs. 1973 shows the Astron Delta with the Camroc. The 1979 catalog did not have the Camroc listed in any form so it must have been OOP by then.

Sure wish I could find the film canister part of the Camroc so I can rebuild it.
