That is a very small model. There's barely room for the motor in the body.

Sadly, this model can never be produced again. The molds were lost/destroyed many years ago. When Cox went to re-issue their old rocket line in the late 1980's, the molds for the Little Joe II were missing.

Bob,
Hello Mr. Sanford. That's what I had heard also. One of our out of town CSAR members
has one. It was hanging up in one location for one of Columbus's oldest hobby shops, Hall's
Hardware and Hobby Shop (it was originally Downtown, in the hardware store's basement).
Our member , Tony Phillips, just asked the assistant whether he could buy that display
model. And the guy said yes. When that location and owner of Hall's decided to sell the
hobby shop. The mother of the guy whom loaned the model to the store came in to pick
up the Little Joe II for her son. And she was Pi$$ed it had been sold off. This was about
1984. For the record I used to visit Hall's Hardware & Hobby Shop while taking swimming
lessons at the YMCA at age 13 (trunks optional- Yeech). And when you wlked down the
stairs to the basement (accessable from the sidewalk) the wonderfull smell of Old Balsa
would just knock you down. And ****, at that time I didn't have more than a dollar on
me at any one time. All those pre-Damon kits hanging up. They carried the entire line !!
If time travel was possible (and returning to present). I would give almost anything to
return to that hobby shop with about $100.00 (Not my soul, mind you 8) ). That store
(the Hobby Shop portion) was sold to my junior high science teacher, Mr. Robin Harris
in 1971. But by the time I made it to his location (about 1973). And was working part-
time. Almost all of the old kits were gone. One of the biggest regrets of my life, not getting
there sooner.

Upwards,
