The shape is different, the trailing edge of the skywriter fins are parallel, it will sit flat on a table, where the star trek/kadet fin unit trailing edge is swept slightly forward. Expand the pic below on the left of the Star Trek fin can sitting on the table and you can see the sweep, compare to the mongoose In the middle which is the sky writer fin unit. The right hand picture is a Kadet which used the Star Trek/Proton Torpedo/early two stage Scorpion fin unit, in black. |
