Default Estes Interceptor kit#1350

THIS ITEM HAS SOLD.

For sale an unopened ESTES E - powered version of the world-renowned Interceptor model rocket! Leave it to Estes engineers to upsize the original model to a super-sized version of a classic rocket from Estes.
Standing nearly 39 in. (990 mm) tall, this Skill Level 2 tall model rocket features laser cut precision balsa parts, a slotted body tube for extra secure wing & fin mounting, a detailed blow molded nose cone and 3 huge 5 color decal sheets that will finish this model in award-winning décor!
The Estes Interceptor E launches on Estes ‘E’ engines to heights over 450 feet (137m) high and recovery is under a fully assembled 24” (610mm) nylon parachute.
Building supplies, E size launch equipment, and engines– not included.
Recommended for ages 18 and up with adult supervision for those under 18.

Great kit! I’d buy it but I have 6-7 besides the one pictured. (I never had an original Interceptor, so I kinda went crazy when these and the standard size #1250 came out about 10 years ago.)

Maiden flight at NARAM-60 on an F24W reload in the 24/40 RMS. Not a great shot, but if you zoom in, you can see the impressive White Lightning flame. (It’s not painted white, it’s light aircraft gray.)

The F24-4 is a GREAT motor for the Interceptor-E. The E28, E30, F32 and F39 are also.
