Default Argentine rockets (Part 3)

Attached below are dimensioned and decor scheme drawings of the Argentine Tauro M1, Tauro T09, VS-30 V07 (Brazilian, with a joint AR/BR payload), PBX 10/100, and Tronador I (liquid propellant test vehicle) sounding rockets, and text (from the Grupo Artax website: http://www.grupoartax.com.ar ). [The text on the VS-30 V07, PBX 10/100, and Tronador I won't fit in this posting, so I'm putting it in a fourth part.] It's in Spanish, but it can be translated on FreeTranslation.com (see: www.freetranslation.com ); the tabular data are easy enough to figure out via context. Here they are:

Thank you! Many of them could be "kit-bashed" from the Estes UP Aerospace SpaceLoft kit and from the Estes Crossfire kit, as both have the 11 degree conical nose cone (in BT-5 and BT-50 size, respectively). Estes also has an 11 degree conical nose cone in BT-55 size (from their out-of-production Black Brant II scale kit; I don't know if it's used in any current Estes kits), which could be used for still-larger scale models of several of the Argentine sounding rockets. The two-stage ones could use vented gap-staging, along with Evan "Buzz" Nau's gap-staged lower stage streamer recovery methods (it's in a "Sport Rocketry" issue--I don't remember which one; it involves a rear-ejection lower stage motor mount or [as an alternative] ejecting the lower stage's streamer from a rearward-facing stowage tube in the lower stage--both methods work well).

The Estes JBR-013 uses that cone: http://www.estesrockets.com/rockets...03234-jbr-013tm

The nose cone packs for BT-55 may contain it. I know I had bought one in the past which had two PNC-55AC and two of this cone.

Thank you! I'm not familiar with all that Estes offers at present, but I suspected that they'd found a new use for that nose cone (now that you mention it, I have seen that conical one as part of BT-55 nose cone assortments on eBay). Also, an Estes Gnome or Puma with a conical UP Aerospace SpaceLoft nose cone (and with the body tube cut or spliced to the proper scale length) would make a passable stand-off scale Orion II model.
