Default Any ideas?

Just found this at the bottom of a pile in the shop. BT-60 with fins and nothing else. Knowing me as I do, I'm going to say it's a clone, but other than that..........
Any ideas?

The fins seem disproportionately small to the air frame. But they look like they were made for a ring fin, which would put it back in perspective. Strike a bell?

My first thought was it was the beginnings of an Estes Cyclone

But to Doug's point, the fins appear to be the wrong shape.

I can't tell the exact proportions of the fins in the photo, but a Mean Machine has pretty small fins.

I used John's Tube Guide last night and figured out that it's the beginning of an incorrectly built Menace. I know I still have the instruction sheet downstairs. Pretty sure I didn't read it.

Looks a bit like Mean Machine fins, but the MM fins are not so far aft.

Assuming the fins are correctly sized, it'll look much better once you add the scoop and wings. The paint and decals should really make this one pop.

Make a REAL MENACE out of it by putting 4oz of Lead in the TAIL . That will ASSURE it flies in a MENACING fashion.

I'm sure they are. It was an actual kit, not a clone. Looking forward to unearthing the rest of the kit so I can see if I actually did it correctly. So far, that is.
