Default Rocksim version number

I have a suggestion - whenever anyone posts a .rkt file, please note in the post what version it is designed with. After all, a lot of people are still using version 8 (myself included) and I would like to know whether a design will work in my version before I download it and it won't load (or crashes).

Greg

Good suggestion, Greg. The new 'pods' feature is exclusive to V9, and will not display on anything earlier. Fortunately, the DEMO is out now for V9, so you can grab it to view these files.

I'll try to remember the version number for future posts...

I tried the version 9 demo. But it won't run because of running the version 8 demo before. It said my days are all used up...

I don't know if this will help and it's not really my place to volunterr his code, but Nick (EMRR) runs a script to automatically ID the Rsim version. Maybe there's a way to make a tool to let people check on the versions of any old files you have before they are loaded and tried?

Contact Tim about that. He stated that that's not supposed to happen.

You're supposed to get a fresh number of days for the new demo.
