Default Congratulations to Initiator001 and AeroTech

Saw this posted by Gary today and just wanted to extend my congratulations to both Gary and our own Bob Sanford, otherwise known as Initiator001. Truly one of the most important and enduring rockets in the history of our hobby. What an awesome, well-deserved tribute. Not to mention the fact that it just looks cool as heck!

Congratulations to both Gary and Bob!

P.S. - Steve, I fixed Bob's username. You had a space in it.

Congratulations Bob and Gary!

The Initiator was my first Aerotech kit back in the early 90s, when a friend introduced me to the wonders of composite motors and rockets bigger than the Estes rockets we were flying. I still have it. Such a classic design!

Thanks everyone!

I am honored and humbled that AeroTech would put a giant Initiator outside their building.

I need to get up there and see it!

If you go to a hi-rise there in San Diego and look to the northeast, you just might see the top part of it!

Congrats!
