Looks really neat. I wonder how 3D printing will help model rocketry especially being able to print nosecones. Will this method make producing nosecone cheaper than turning them from balsa?

I got a friend of mine who is "into" the 3D printing process. He is currently trying to perfect a way to grind up and use the plastic that surrounds older computer monitors and other hardware. If he can get it to work he would have a virtual unlimited supply of core material. From what I understand the plastic used in printing can be a bit expensive but is getting cheaper.

These reports really ought to include the weights of the finished parts.
