Default Jayhawk day at rhe June Sod Farm launch

I decided to create something new for the next Sod Farm launch. I thought it would be cool to fake a Jayhawk boost glider. I like just getting a bunch of balsa and seeing what happens. I am about half way in the process and had to take pics.

Very nice Dan, looks like it could be a kit. Are you going to paint it?

I am still winging it Chad. I have to get the motor mount on and see what it looks like in my head at that time. It will need color for sure. I don't want to think to much about the design or it won't fly well. At least taht is how gliders work for me

Should be a fun day - I always enjoy seeing your gliders fly, Dan. I'll be bringing a 1/5 sport-scale Jayhawk, if I can get it done in time.

Here is the finished glider. I will trim it tomorrow at the Sod Farm and see what happens.
I think it has a good chance of at least going up

If it does so, I think it has an even better chance of coming down.
