T-Minus DART rocket
Hello All,
A Dutch company called T-Minus Engineering is developing a new boosted dart sounding rocket called the T-Minus DART (see: http://www.t-minus.nl/products/dart/ ), which is compatible with existing Viper IIIA launch equipment (the Viper IIIA is a U.S. boosted dart meteorological rocket/small sounding rocket). A T-Minus DART test vehicle was launched for the first time on September 19, 2014 and was successful, with both the spent motor and the dart having been recovered (see: http://www.t-minus.nl/news/16/17/Fi...f-DART-vehicle/ ). It under-performed slightly, apparently due to booster aeroelasticity effects, and future test rounds will correct the problem. Here is a link to more information on the company and on the T-Minus DART (see: http://www.yesdelft.nl/DetailsCompany/CompanyID/103 ), and attached below is a short article (a PDF) about T-Minus Engineering and their vehicles, including the T-Minus DART. I hope this information will be helpful.
