Well at least that's better than a big fat no with a BS excuse for not bringing back the B14.
For the last 30 years there has been one safety-weenie baloney excuse after another. I'd really like the genuine DRILLED CORE B14 back, but the B8/C5 series would suffice. Keep the B4 series, DUMP the B6 series completely and bring back the B14 in -0, 3, 5, and 7 flavors. That would cover ALL needs of a B engine if the B4-6 returns.

Are you referring to those difficult decisions that enable companies to continue to operate safely, legally, and efficiently? One need not be a rocket scientist to intuit that Estes considers the cored engines to present some sort of safety or liability risk, either in production or use. If not having the B14 means that that Estes will be around for another couple of generations, I'm all for it! James |

And I chimed in exactly what GH suggested: I'd settle for B8s and C5s. I'm sure he heard the comment - I was 15 feet away from him and kind of in the front row as we stood there outside the fenced-off area that contained the motor-making machines and the static test shack.

Still have his engine machine and really don't know what to do with it and all the programming he did for it to put the right amount of powder and "clay" for each type engine. Not sure how far he got because he had to stop so many times over the years to bring back more kits. |

I knew if anyone was to get the B14 back going it would have been Carl first.
He really listened to what people in the hobby wanted. Carl and the entire original Semroc team truly were the gold standard of the entire hobby industry.

Why is no one talking about NARAM 60 ?
I find that very strange . . . No talk about the Competition, at all. Dave F. |
