"D" Redstone engine?
Wanted to find out if a C11-3 would be a good engine to use for My Estes #1921 Mercury Redstone that is set up for D power for the first flight?...Or not? Its built...gotta paint it......

I fly mine on D12-5. I did very little painting, and did not use the decals on it though. I printed a wrap that has fantastic details on it for the body tube. The only parts painted were the capsule,tower, and the fins.

It's not going to go all that high on a D12-5; probably about 650'; I would just use that.
That being said, you can safely fly it on a C11-3; it will probably only hit around 300'.
