Default New HYDRA-launch SLV!

Hello All,

A company in Norway (Ripple Aerospace) is developing a sea-launched, plug nozzle-equipped, reusable two-stage satellite launch vehicle (Sea Serpent 1) which—like Admiral Robert C. Truax’s SEALAR/Excalibur/Seahorse/Sea Dragon vehicles—can be scaled up to arbitrarily large sizes. Below are links to information on it, as well as a bunch more Project HYDRA-type (and related) rocket material:

Ripple Aerospace Sea Serpent 1 satellite launch vehicle: and

Excalibur Model S:

Sea Star:

Project HYDRA:

Sea-launched smallsat launcher (using Russian SLBMs & solid first stages) paper:

*First* Project HYDRA launch video:

Sea Dragon:

Excalibur: .0.FzCylB7I-RM

Starstruck Inc. Dolphin (it flew in 1984, not 1982): aO0

Super Arcas: and

I hope this material will be useful.
