Default US Rockets WTF?

Jerry,

Why are you stealing photos for your website?

This is my son's scratch built Centuri Orion, on my pool table, in my house.

http://v-serv.com/usr/kits/corion6.htm

and

http://v-serv.com/usr/kits/corion3.htm

And don't tell me it's fair game because I posted it on YORF. If you had asked, I wouldn't have minded you using it at all, but this pisses me off.

And you've ripped off photos of MY scratch built Athena.

I think you need to remove these photos. If you want pics of your kits, send me the models and I will build and photograph them.

At the very least, it's a gross mis-representation of his product which does not have the components we used on our builds.

yeah, I'm not shocked.. Thats why i dont post anything publicly that I don't want profit seekers use.. Not even Launch club websites ( CMASS does warn against risks with public uploads on CMASS website). I do a lot of sctachbuilds that no one sees. you have to come to a CMASS launch for those. If its a clone no big deal, although i do even less of those.
Edit: There are vendors on this site- that's good, but you have to be careful with everyone here, and not just with vendors.

I agree. They are images of "similar sized models" that's all. It not like sales are brisk or even existent. Now that you have said something, I will credit the photos. But as of now there is no there there. None.

To address your first, but way overstated question:

http://v-serv.com/tr/images/fairuse.txt

Posting this link:

http://www.gizmag.com/hyperspace-tr...ook-like/25794/

isn't "stealing" since it deprives nobody of access or money. It is educational.

Jerry

Asking permission is proper. I would have given it. You didn't so I want them removed. I have no idea what "there is no there there" means.
