Default Estes Space Shuttle Kits on Ebay

This morning I saw 3 space shuttle kits listed on ebay from 3 different sellers. I havent seen this many for sale at one time....ever.

Did I miss an announcement from estes? Are they bringing the kit back and everyone is trying to get rid of their old kits before the price goes down?

Is this just wishful thinking on my part?

I haven't heard that they are bringing them back, however, that would make a great deal of sense. With the final flight of the Shuttle coming up, you'd think they would have had them out by now to capitalize on the marketing. Which, leads me to believe they are not going to re-release them.....

I agree with you Kevin.

The molds are probably OK for another run so expect a 35th or 40th anniversary re-release in the coming years.
