Default Wow! Is it worth this insane $ amount??

I know this is rare, but is it worth this kind o' cash???

Just seems real steep to me even for a one-of-a-kind DIE.

It is not Dane.

I know who it is, but I will let him identify himself if he chooses.

No, it is not Dane, but a model rocketry historian. I'll follow Carl's lead and not reveal any more.

The further back you go to the very beginnings of the hobby when things really have some historical value, yea, it's probably worth it. *I* wouldn't pay that much for it myself, but I can see where someone might.

Hence, why it is on auction!

Some one sold/bought the original MMI Arcon dies a few years back.
I may have mentioned this before, but I was surprised we never saw
the buyer offer fins stamped from the die - I would have bought a set or two,
and would buy a couple sets of the Aerobee fins as well.

I'll just say he put out a great historical newsletter at one time.

I didn't realize he was ill.

I bought something from him last year. I could have sworn Boles was in the return address.

Edit: Wait....I remember now. I have most of his publications and his last name is a lot longer than Boles.
