Default Myke Bergenske passed away on December 29, 2017

FYI, for those who did not know:

Sadly, I recently learned that Myke Bergenske passed away at the age of 80 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, on December 29, 2017.

See obituary links:

Myke had quite a significant impact on the hobby of Model Rocketry.

Several years ago, Myke sold some of his personal model rocketry items. I purchased an original Centuri Gabriel model rocket kit from him and still have it to this day.

Kind regards,
Jeff

OH! That's a bummer.

He could have filled in a lot of history gaps.

I ordered a lot of stuff from AVI back i the day, and won the design contest once. $50 went a long way back then!

I still have several AVI engines in my "old motor collection"
They had some neat composites along with BP motors.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Sorry to hear about Myke Bergenske's passing.
He and his wife Dianne were always very nice to me.

The "Congreve." A bit like the USS America Centuri Superkit.

This was in 76 or 77.
