Default Big ol' Fat Boy movie

This starts off a little slow, but it's worth watching through to the end. Trust me on this. Pay close attention in those final 30 or so seconds.

One of the owners/builders of that Fat Boy posted on TRF that they never gave permission to release that video to the public because of concerns that it might negatively impact our hobby in regards to the BATFE.

Hey don't get me wrong - I still thought it was an interesting project and a great video. You can see more about the Fat Boy and it's crew at the Arizona Rocketry Team web site.

Nah, I'm not. I was over reading the comments on TRF and it seems like a lot of hand wringing and gnashing of teeth for nothing. Accidents happen. Some just happen to be entertaining and since no one got hurt, you have to admit that it has a touch of humor. What happened with that rocket was somewhat more serious than a foul ball at a baseball game blowing out a window on a car. (And I apologized for that.) I thought the flight was great and never gave a thought to how "unsafe" it was, even as the owner of a Ford Windstar.
It's over. It's on YouTube. No ants were maimed in the making of the video. Enjoy, and hope that you're not next.
