Default Loadstar & Loadstar II questions

Hi, not sure if I put this in the right section, but I have a question about the loadstars (not the current ARF, but the two stagers). What, if any, is the difference between the two models?

The Loadstar's cat number is #1760. Currently listed as the bulk pack. I'm not sure if it was available as a single purchase rocket. The loadstar II is listed as #3227, but the instructions also have it listed at #1760.

Just curious....

Thanks.

Google says:

003227 - Loadstar™ II - Skill 2 - Kits By Skill Level ... - Estes Rockets

002456 - LoadStar™ - RTF - Ready to Fly - Rockets - Estes Rockets

New Estes Loadstar Bulk Pack Skill Level 2 12 1760

The 1760 is for the bulk kit package. The design was released in 1990 as the Warp II (2022) and last appeared in the 1993 catalog. AFAIK, this Loadstar was never available as a single kit. The Loadstar (1760) appeared in the catalog a couple of years later as a bulk kit package. The Loadstar II (1760 bulk kit and 3227 single kit) appeared when it was reintroduced in 2012. The name was probably changed so the name would not conflict with the currently available RTF offering.

Hi, thanks for the reply. That is what I thought happened, but I wasn't sure if there were any other changes.
