Default And it can ALL BE YOURS,.......

IF the Price Is $120.81
http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-ESTES-Model...=item414c23562e

(To be fair, I can't see the Photobucket pics, and there very well could be something in there that justifies the price. My observation is based solely on the "CHALLENGER-1-Astron MARK-II" description and the picture in the header.)

Well, he's dropped the price way down now .......to $99.95!

I really think that Scott should create another section of the Forum, and call it "Stupid eBay Auction of the Day" or something like that.

How about "Operators Are Standing By!"

Or maybe "But Wait, There's More!" Or whatever; you get the idea.

There's both an orange Porta-Pad and lantern-battery launch pad in the lot...

... and there's a Solar Controller...

...and there's an Astron controller...

...the cardboard box appears to be in fair to good condition...

...and the Challenger-1 model doesn't look like it's been damaged. For that matter, it doesn't look as if it's ever been flown...

...the Mark looks to have suffered hangar rash more than flight damage...

Worth $120? I'll pass...

No, that's the same price. There's also a $20.86 shipping cost for this "rare and highly valuable lot".
Awesomeness.

I get hanger rash in the summer if I wear my shorts too tight.
No. Wait. Oh, I get ya. Yeah, I have a Mark II with hangar rash already. No need to spend $120.86 for an SEP.

I think EVERY member of YORF should start sending him offers of 1.00 or so on this, since it does have the 'make offer' button enabled

There is no Astron Controller. you are seeing the orange controller with the ultra thin wires that connects to the screw top lantern battery. It has a terminal lug on one wire and a micro clip on the other, plus a short wire with a terminal lug on one end and a micro clip on the other end.

You can open it, replace all the wire and install an LED or a 12volt lamp and create an Astron Launch Controller clone.

I can assure you all that I am totally rash-free. That doesn't mean that I haven't been rash from time to time.

MarkII

Oh wait... OK, now I know what you meant.
