I read of his passing yesterday as well, very sad news indeed. http://www.jacksonvilleprogress.com..._341182611.html I'll have to burn another G35-10 in one of my EnerJet models at our next launch as a memorial to Bob. I still have a Ellis Mountain single use K600 (never certified) in my magazine waiting for an opportunity ..... .

I burned his motors and drank his ice water at the Hearne NSL. Rest in peace.

I was one of the few using the Ellis G35 over AT alternatives at NARAM-49 (G-SRA), and that longer burn was just enough for me to eke out a trophy, which was just enough to win the meet, which was just enough to win national champion. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Ellis motors, and am saddened to hear we've lost the man behind them. |

R.I.P. Mr. Ellis . My favorite motors were the 29mm I-69 and the 24mm G-20 or G-35 . Dont remember the last one exactly its been a couple of years. Dont get to many of those out here on the west coast.

Very sad; I saw the notice on the Aerotech web site. I was just starting to use his motors.
