Default Nsl 2017

Online registration is now open for NSL 2017!

12,000'+ waiver; launches up to simple N or complex M can be accommodated. Plus plenty of pads for the smaller stuff!

In addition to three days of launching at one of the nicest launch ranges in the country, we've offering several tours to local space- and aerospace-related points of interest. For more information or to register visit the NSL 2017 website:

http://www.nar.org/site/nsl2017/

So who's coming?

I'm going for at least one day, I'll probably just drive up from El Paso. I had fun at NSL 2010 so it's kind of a no-brainer.

A friend and I are likely coming. I just had surgery for basal cell carcinoma on several places on my face. Some additional treatments next month. If dermatologist isn't too concerned about being in sun, I'll be there.

Or I suppose I could just buy a sombrero locally? 😀

Haha, I thought of that, but that would be cross dressing, right?

As part of NSL 2017, we're offering several tours of local space or aerospace-related points of interest. One of them is an all day tour to the High Speed Test track at Holloman AFB and the historic V2 launch complex at White Sands Missile Range. This tour will take place on Tuesday, May 30 -- the day after the last day of the sport launch. The track isn't normally open for public viewing, so our tour presents a rare opportunity for you to see the track up close.

Here is a look at some of the history of the High Speed Test Track:

I'll be there with a friend. Driving down from Colorado. He has a Suburban so I plan to bring a bunch of rockets and motors.

I ordered the NSL T-shirts so it's too late to back out now!
