Default Real Space Rockets - Closed Effective 9/29/2018

Real Space Rockets has closed effective 9/29/2018. Carl Campbell announced on Facebook a few days ago that he was closing up shop to focus on other things.

Sad. Third one this year. And does anyone know if BMS closed down Mercury Engineering? Their website has been down for over a month.

Several vendors that carry RSR's line of flying model rockets still have a few left in their inventory. Got to get them fast before they're sold out. They're a bit pricey, but the quality of the kits are excellent. I have the Atlas - V New Horizons model and ordered the Delta - II kit yesterday, which was on my bucket list for quite some time. I know Carl (of RSR) is employed by ULA and is busy traveling often between Florida and California whenever ULA has one of their rockets launching from Vandenberg AFB. Wish him the best.

BMS is selling one of the Mercury Engineering kits - The Invader - as the 3" School Rocket.
There were some improvements made from the original Invader design.
