Default ISRO web site and LVM3

ISRO has redesigned its web site http://www.isro.gov.in. It looks great, and in particular there's a nice page about the LVM3 launch vehicle they tested with the CARE module last week: http://www.isro.gov.in/launchers/lvm3. Looks like an excellent reference with numbers and a detailed picture if anyone is thinking of doing a scale model.

I apologize for not catching this until now--Thank You for posting this! In addition to their new and existing launch vehicles, ISRO also has a stable of sounding rockets called Rohini (whose numbers denote the maximum diameter in millimeters; the RH-200, RH-300, RH-300 Mk II, and RH-560, as well as previously-used ones such as the RH-75, RH-100, and RH-125), which are patterned after the French Sud-Ouest Belier, Centaure, and Dragon sounding rockets. In fact, ISRO's first sounding rockets were imported Centaures, which they also built under license for a time. All of the Rohini sounding rockets make good, simple, and stable scale models, and vented gap-staging with booster recovery can be used to recover the lower stages of the two-stage ones (the RH-200 and RH 560) gently, by parachute or streamer.
