Junk Ad With a Historic Item
Saw this ad for a one of those miracle devices that "they" don't want us to know about. Power companies don't want us to know about Jetex rocket motors??? According to the Jetex website it appears to be a Jetex Atom 35 or Jetex 50B motor.
Makes you wonder about who develops these bogus ads and more about who responds to them. Never had a Jetex motor, but still have some fuse (of dubious condition now). Chas

I sold one of those on Ebay!
Ebay wouldn't let me sell the fuel pellets so I still have them.

Ebay moderators are mamby-pamby douchebags that think if it is illegal in Cali, it must be so everywhere too. Should have emailed the buyer that the fuel pellets were going to be included. If one knows how, one can even find LONG-illegal fireworks like old collectible cherry bombs, salutes, etc.

Looks like a Jetex 50 with a bent nozzle retaining wire/spring/thingy to me. I have semi-fond memories of my Jetex models. Kinda like lighting White Thunder with a Copperhead....sometimes they start, sometimes they don't...... I have no idea where my Jetex motors (I had a 50 and a 150 about - oh - 40+ years ago) have got to.

I almost wish I could find out more about the Jetex Scam, out of morbid curiosity.
"Free energy" schemes go WAY back. In college I read through over a hundred years of Scientific American issues. In two decades, the newspaper* reported on a "water engine" scheme. Specifically, "cold steam." Scammers would hold lectures where they'd talk about how the evil Coal Trust wanted to suppress their unique method of generating water vapor -- the driving force behind mighty locomotives -- with simple mechanical action. And people fell for it, investing in worthless stock! * SA was a newspaper until a bit after WWI as I recall.

I always liked the $600 SOLAR Clothes Dryer. You got a rope and a bag of clothes pins!

Try Googling "Power Companies Hate This". You'll be impressed by the number of hits. I couldn't find the Jetex ad but I did find this .
