The "C" in PMC stands for "CRASHING".
In the 40 years I have been involved in model rocketry I have seen FAR more CRASHES of PMCs than successful flights. Usually they are vastly underpowered or have the CG/CP relationship WILDLY "out-of-WHACK".
The by-far best POWR-PRANGS I have seen have all been PMCs. They scatter plastic bits spectacularly over a wide radius.
Most feature "Trash Bag-n'-Broom" so-called "recovery" systems.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Easy. Four canted motors in a Quadracant layout. The notches are already provided. Put the landing gear down on the other side to equalize drag. A tad bit of nose weight and press the button.

Just flew the MPC - PMC Space 1999 Eagle horizontally on a chopped C11-0, rear eject. The chute did not deploy but the tough PMC came through with very minor damage and will fly again. Make you PMC like IRON: BULLETFROOF. And don't skimp on the POWER!

Yep, make those PMCs like IRON.
That way they carry plenty of kinetic energy to destroy what's in their path WHEN (not if) they POWR-PRANG CRASH.
