What happened?!? The seller pulled the auction with just a few hours left! Darn, I was going to offer $45,324.99 for the lot ... we all know its worth a whole lot more than that! :P

"On Apr-03-08 at 23:54:59 PDT, seller added the following information:

SPECIAL NOTICE

I have had over 45 people email and ask to end this auction and sell the kits seperate. I think thats what ill do or accept a buy it now."

Apparently he smelled the bigger buckage available this way.

What a great way to use ebay to get a FREE rough appraisal on your collection. I think I will do the same some day just to get a ball park figure and compile a list of potential buyers from around the world.

All this just for a listing fee of $0.20!
