Without looking it up, I guess I would define "Steampunk" as: "decorated with non-operational and artificially aged in appearance gears, levers, gages, clevises, governors, rivets, boilers, etc."

I suppose the Disney version of Cpt. Nemo's Nautilis could be considered steampunk(ish.)

I guess even The Borg could be considered steampunk(ish)........................
