Yep, his status is changing hour by hour and YORF has been down for a bit.

It is beleived (hoped?) that they can treat this medicinally rather than surgically.

I'm not going into minute detail as that is a private matter, but Carl is doing better. Tired, to be sure. I am also sure that having the site down isn't helping his mood... LOL

But, he's a tough nut, so...

Our thoughts are with you...get will soon!

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. They have worked. Carl's doctor feels surgery is not warrented at this time and has been giving him various medications that seem to be working well. Carl is feeling much better. We are still hoping for a release date of Friday or Saturday if all continues well.

Bruce has been able to get the internet working for us but we stilll can't get to our site or emails to process orders. I do not know anything of the workings of computers (we have several hooked up to do various jobs). He is still working on that and we hope to get it going very soon. Thank you everyone for your patience with this.

I am soooo glad to hear things are going well for Carl! Hang in there Sheryl, sounds like the worst of it is already behind you. Hey, don't sweat the website, processing orders, or anything pertaining to Semroc this week! I think it was Bruce who said mom and dad needed a real vacation....but this is a hell of a way to get it! If Bruce doesn't get the web stuff figured out, it's no biggie...no need to stress over it. It's not that significant in the grand scheme. We are just glad Carl is still with us and can hopefully return home soon!

Nothing starts the day better than hearing news that is more positive than negative.
Thank You for the update, Sheryl. We will keep Carl, and your family, in our thoughts and prayers. So glad things are going better!

Surely, I am enthusiastically joined by the entire rocketry community in prayer and kind thoughts for a speedy recovery to Carl and strength for his family.

I consider Carl one of the most influential promoters of the hobby and, although I only know him from SEMROC and YORF, I think of him as both a relative and friend, responsible for countless hours of model building enjoyment and many years of rocketry thrills.

I hold him in similar esteem to Lee and Vern and look forward to his continued contributions.

Amen to that.

While the business of Semroc is important; the soul of Semroc is far and away the greater issue. I was very concerned to read of Carl's medical issues and can only hope that he continues to improve.

There are a great many people across the country, indeed several countries that are pushing only the best energy your way. Stay strong for him, (so that you can keep him in line with those discharge instructions) and take care of yourself.

Sheryl, thanks so much for the update on Carl. Sounds like good news indeed. Please allow me to join the chorus in saying don't concern yourself about things like orders and websites right now.
