Battlestar Galactica Colonial Viper
I designed and finished this over Christmas, been thinking about how to make it flyable for a while, decided on an oversized wing, painted flat black to just leave the scale wing outline, it works pretty well. I'm waiting for stickershock to send me the motor detail wraps to finish it off. 29" long, 23.5" wingspan, 12 oz rtf, for the small wing area it actually has a very decent glide. Here are the first three flights before I painted the wing.

That one really tries to "nose over" into horizontal flight during boost, huh ?
I'm thinking if it had the "scale" anhedral in the main wings it probably would not, but then it would probably have a real goofball glide.

No, that was me, I pitched over to get upwind, then zoomed up it also helps avoid getting into the smoke trail and loosing the model, it looks worse since the video camera is right underneath. Anhedral would make it want to roll inverted. It flies very nicely.
