Good luck!

You're right. I could have sworn El Gato was BT-55. Seemed so compact. BT-60 with an orphan nose cone, bulk buy centering rings and shop scrap fins.

Here's a story from the March 30th, 2015 edition of the Edmonton Journal about Canaroc. If we're lucky the gent in the photo, Denis Lufkin will join us for some behind the scenes stories.

Bill,

I modified my Sunward Galactic Wave to look more like a Canaroc Scorpion. We had a big dicsussion about the GW/Scorp back a while ago....

I also went and made a "upscale" Starship Antares. Flies nice on 2x24mm D motors;

A Fish Named Wallyum: Hi, just noticed this thread and wanted to post a reply to your Sunward up/downscale of the Galactic Wave. If it is not too late mind you....

I bought a Galactic Wave (built, not flown yet) and started comparing it to the Scorpion, these were my results. The Scorpion has a BT50 main tube and a BT60 engine tube, whereas the Galactic Wave has a BT56 main tube and a BT80 engine tube. So, it is indeed an upscale. :-)

My problem, after reading some other posts about how it struggles, I am starting to regret adding some extra guns on it. I really need to get this airborne soon and see what happens! HEHE!
