Default NASA Pegasus downscale

Latest addition to my mini fleet. Can't wait to get a B4 into it.

Beautiful. The only thing plane-like I've built and flown is the Wolverine. One in the 80s and one as a BAR.
Your finish is great. What did you use for the top coat?

It's just Rusto 2X all the way down. Three medium coats on the same night. and that's it.

Decals on Papillio clear laser waterslide stock. When I scan decals, I then chase them through Adobe Illustrator and convert them to vectors. It allows for some touch-up and makes scaling a breeze - and all the edges stay sharp, either going up or down in scale.

I pre-coated the decals with the Testors clear lacquer (I can't recall which one exactly - but my practice comes from Sandman tips) - but don't know that I'll clear coat the whole rocket. At least not with the Rusto 2X clear. I'm not especially happy with its clarity - it seems to fuzz everything a bit.

Use Pledge...with an airbrush or a sponge.

Pledge is what I use - thanks to this forum.
