Default current build

pictured below my current project. as you can see I use all sorts of 'high tech' tools (w/ TLAR precision ).

NOTHING wrong with TLAR precision, especially when estimated by the Precision Randomizer function of a cranial-apparatus calibrated eyeball.

I find that my mk 1's aren't what they used to be, to compensate I build bigger models....
a semi scale wac corporal (roughly 1/4 scale w/ a 38mm mmt). getting the right fit for the rear most c-ring is taking a while...I would guess that I need to take approx 0.05" off the od to get a proper fit in the tailcone.

so after getting the fins cut, I couldn't resist dry fitting every thing. the result is pictured below

well I'm into the painting stage. forward section shown, fincan is still in the primer stage. empty weight (w/o recovery setup and sans paint) 29.3 oz, methinks this bird ought to really scoot off the pad

JC is a nice place to fly but...this bird is going to be a Bong flyer for now. maybe if I got a 29-38 adapter I could fly it on a G...well that will be a project for another day .
