Default Looking for 1976 issue of Capcom Newsletter (BCMRA)

I am looking for an early 1976 issue of the newsletter named Capcom, from the BCMRA NAR section (Broward County Model Rocket Association, Miami, FL).

The issue I am looking for had plans for the Rotaroc-3 helicopter duration model. I believe it was the March-April 1976 issue. Looking to at least get hold of photocopies or better yet good scans of the plans and article about it.

BTW - here is a link to an online issue from September-October 1975, with NARAM-17 coverage.

Well, he sure might. If anyone has an e-mail for him, let me know in e-mail or PM.

Same for Larry Shenosky or Mike Myrick.

Who was the 'turkey from Atlanta' that was mentioned in the little marquee that went across the top of many of the pages? I realize they were just snippets of some inside jokes, but, just wondering? I was not paying attention to rocketry at the time of that NARAM.

I used to have his e-mail address when he was part of Boeing, but he became part of ULA, so that address would no longer work - and he is apparently not with ULA anymore.

Here he is on LinkedIn:

You can find Mike and Larry on FB as Michael L. Myrick and Larry Shenosky, not to mention Moose as Marc Lavigne

Here you go, George . . . Enjoy !

That's ME, on the cover of the January-August 1975 issue, just to the right of the exhuast plume of the Honest John.

BCRMA, the Broward County Model Rocketry Association was NAR Section # 217.

Jim Tucci, Greg Browning, Larry Shenosky, Marc "Moose" Lavigne, Richard DePina, Stan Calder, Dean Miles, Phil Love, David Risner, Larry Caplinger, myself, and others I can't remember were all BCRMA members. Mike Myrick, Bob Koenn, Pat McCarthy, Richard & Joy Fox ( Orange Rocketeers ) also participated in many of our launches !

Thanks Dave, but wrong issue. I posted a link to that 1975 issue in my first post, as an example of the newsletter.

As I said in my first post, one I am looking for is early 1976, around March or so, with plans for Rotaroc-3 (the first Rotaroc that folded up and flew, #1 and 2 were drop-test prototypes that did not fold). The actual development and testing of Rotaroc-3 was summer 1975 (maybe August after NARAM), for a contest in September.

Capcom had a "Twirly Bird" contest, asking for rocketeers to send plans for designs to use in the new helicopter provisional event.

George,

Jim Tucci or Marc "Moose" Lavigne may still have a copy . You can probably find Mike Myrick through Bob Koenn. Larry Shenosky might be another possibility, if you can locate him.
