Default 1976 MIT Model Rocketry Convention

While cleaning house today at my Dad's I came across a cassette tape titled 1976 MIT Model Rocketry Convention Oral Research and Development Reports, 10 July 1976. It looks like there are four presentations on the tape.

1. Celetti & Lawton - DS2 Timer (should read DS-squared)

2. Flanigan - Engine Shock

3. LaVie - Operation: Polaris

4. Shecter - Artificial Thermal Generators

Can anyone give me any background or history on the convention and the tape?
