Default Cool auction stuff..

Picked this up at a recent auction. Interesting lot, 6 MPC (1969), 6 Estes (1976) diamond pack motors, MRI tubes ( a bit small). An Astron launch controller/pad, 1976 Estes catalog.....bits and pieces of a MPC rocket.

I don't know, very few parts...30MM body tube 12 inches long, 1 fin (looks like a M/R) fin attachment ring and a shock cord mount ( mini FSI). Body tube is a very hard cardboard.

Taking advantage of the thread necro...
Nice score on the motors John!
It kills me every time I see vintage motors listed, I just know if I try to bring these into Australia that customs will destroy them

Wow. Nice find. Back in the '60s I flew a BT-55 model on a MPC B3-3 motor. It got a foot off the rod before falling to the ground and ejecting after the delay.
Later I was an assistant for the NAR Standards and Testing Committee that tested the MPC Minijet motors.

Yeah, I got lucky on those (not an Ebay auction). I try to watch for local estate auctions, when they clean out their attics good 'stuff' sometimes will appear. Recently picked up some 60's slot cars/parts, also a few C5-3's and B14's.
